Sooner or Later...

So...anyone who knows, seen or taught my little boy Noah knows that it's been a challenge to raise such a boy. I love him dearly and he has some FANTASTIC little qualities but he will definitely try you....Take today for example...

I knew that it was only a matter of time that the poor little guy would have some major major meltdown at school and show the teacher what she was really in for. We lasted 3 days without an issue...but on the 4th....I was in the carpool line ready to pick Noah up when the teacher escorted Noah to the car...big red flag...then she began with "Noah is soooo intelligent and is an amazingly clever little guy"...I love it when they try to butter you up like that... "and I now see what you were trying say a couple of days ago"...to be fair I always forewarn..."but today we had"...wait for it...not 1, not 2 but "3 major meltdowns!"...I guess he was trying to make up for those last 3 days! Apparently there was an issue with not wanting to go outside, then not wanting to go inside, and playing with his food and bugging the kid beside him at snack time...resulting in losing his snack which brought on the meltdown. Oh what will I do with that boy?!?!

So the teacher and I discussed that he was probably trying to test her and see what he could get away with with her. We also discussed his cleverness and that he's smarter than he looks.
I guess we'll see how the next few weeks go. Poor Mrs. Schmeltzer...she ain't seen nothing yet!

I just wanted to end by saying....THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to all you teachers out there that have my precious little boy in one of your classes. I know it's not easy now....but Josh and I bring ourselves through this part of his life by saying to ourselves...there's got to be something big in the horizon for this kid...we've just got to guide and watch and pray because with his personality there has got to be SOMETHING! please? And I'm sure it will be fun to watch unfold...If we can only just survive it! hahahaha

Noah has been great to teach because he keeps me on my toes. He is a sweet boy with a lot of energy! He just LOVES to participate. That will serve him well as he gets older. You are a great mom and I am sure there are wonderful things in store for you and Josh! Let me know if there is anything you would like me to do different with him. I am glad the first few days of school went well. He will figure it out!
